Writing craze

Writing always makes me feel better, that's the main purpose of my blog, to release emotions and thoughts!

I love going to beach if I face any tough problems I can't hold a breathe with. but now I realize that is not practical, it can make me relax but in the end I still have to face the problem and solve it. That was a long ago since my last visit to Jerudong beach, I remembered it was raining heavily and I was feeling pretty damn sad.

Today I felt the same, not only screw up my test, well, it is suppose to be easy if I didn't panic for awhile, I just didn't managed to finish it. What a mess. Still not the end of the world, I am still here, living my life.

I feel kinda off normality these days, I feel abnormal at times. Mood swings, crazy temper, not that I myself can hold it nicely. I just let off very easily. Thanks to the patient maths gang, I wonder how they can tolerate all my craziness sometimes *smiles widely*.

After knowing the answer to a question you thought so hard, it was that easy that you might even want to smack your head to not know it before that. After working so hard, and getting to know your classmates just googled it and finish it within a few minutes just makes you feel like pulling your hairs off. HAHA!. How idiotic but I believe, and I still do believe hardwork will be paid off one day when I hold my graduating certificate with a first class honour (in my dreams, but it might come true, who knows!) HEHE!

These days, I live my own life, without expecting anyone or anything to come by. I do things I like, I refuse to things I don't want to. It feels pretty damn good. YES. It feels pretty that good, also bad because I might look aloof at times, and scary the next. HAHA. I am in the middle of building myself back. After feeling so tired from everything I do, I need this. Some freedom and space I need, not listening to anyone, just do things like a boss.
(WOAH, it feels so good that I kinda loving it now.)

Out of sight means out of mind. I always forget things until I see it, and things that reminds me of it. but otherwise, I can just forget about it without guilty, bleh. I forget a lot of things including I have a 8am class the next day so I slept late, and I was still having dizzy head on the bed cannot managed to wake up! Thanks to the wet hair the night before, I have some headache too, so yea I skipped class. What an "accomplishment"?

I am a random person. Reading from the top, you would realize this is not an organized blog post, I typed as I thought. Huu... so the topics are suddenly here and there. Its a releasing moments, I am not suppose to try hard in arranging it anyways. HEHEHE.

So I've done computer graphics assignment lab 7, lab 8 yet to be done :'(, so much to do. and I feel like watching running man. AHAHA. what.. and yesss, later we'll be having sister night. pretty late, around 10pm+, or 11+pm. Everyone is in "Assignment mode" and prefers to enjoy after hardwork! *thumbs up!* <3 br="br">
AND I just get back my mini test paper, WOAH 20/20, my heart melted, not so soon later I was having my modelling test and my heart broke. LOL! Thinking back, it was all nonsense :(

I wish Baby is here, telling me its going to be easy. Things are GOING TO BE OKAY. WOAH!

SKBD Table Tennis 10-13th Sept 2012

IPT Table Tennis Team!

We've earned 1 set of medals, 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze for IPT. I am very proud of myself in a sense that I get to breathe through the hotness and some headache for this! =) and of course thanks to all team mates and supporters, without you, who would we be?

I was completely satisfied with my first day, and 2nd/3rd day was very awful because I can feel the whole body isn't just as complete as it was. Fever or lack of sleep? I am not quite sure. My mind flew away and I had hard time focusing. Nevertheless, it was all good games. At least, this is the first time I have all 3 different medals, gold silver bronze! Optimistically although I break the record of the trend I keep getting 2 gold 1 silver for the past few years, but well this could the best so far, the fighting spirit, the team work within IPT is much more than I ever wanted!

As a whole, everyone is fighting for the best! I can see their burning spirit, hardwork paid off, not just for the medals but the spirit you have for this event and the best performance you gave! :) Give your best, give your best!!

It is nice to know Brunei Table Tennis is improving now, may not be up to competitive level with the outside, but deep within, we can see we are going up. :) New faces and new courageous beginners, hope to see them getting better and competitive! =D

Special thanks to all IPT team mates, and not to forget my dearest Min who were there all along, pushing me to my best! and of course Tiffany who purposely come to watch my double finals, feels like angel from the sky! Thanks for being there, people, it meant a lot more than a lot to me :)

Congratulation to Temburong and KB for being tops in the matches! :D hehe! Love you all! ;)

A day spent in Azhar's Tahlil Ceremony

It was 21st July 2012. The day Azhar was buried at Anduki Perkuburan Islam. Tzu Min, Hadi, Hafidz, Arif, Khairuddin and Ibrahim was there. Hj Afiq and a few of his MPP friends too were there. His hostel room neighbours were there too.

You can see a lot of people reading Yassin to pray for him and pour Air Suci around him, hoping he will be purified. Everyone sent our best wishes. I, not knowing what exactly I should do, I just bowed 3 times as respect.

I tried to hold on my tears each time I think of him. When the flashes of moments come by, tears can hardly stay inside. "Be confident, you can do it." "Easy maaaa.." "Mana Tzu min?"etc etc. Each time frame in your head, hearing his sound saying, like a movie clip, it plays.

He isn't the most important person in my life, yet he once stepped into my life and left some colourful remarks. He were there as a great advisor, a great team mate and a great friend.

It was so heartache for me, it would be way too complicated to explain how sad his family would be, the red eyes I see from all his family members, trying to hold back all the tears, but hardly can, wiping them off and smiling welcoming Azhar's friends and relatives. The weakness you can feel behind all those tough smile.

Be strong. That is what Azhar want us to be. Be strong.
Azhar, you will be remembered as the handsome man in Askar uniform! :) Cheers. I will be strong. May Allah bless you.

A letter to a great man, Azhar Sulong

Dear Azhar,

I don't know how sad it is to know this news. Looking at Razali's post on UBDPPC group telling us that you left us because of a helicopter accident, I wished what I see wasn't true, but when more and more of your friends typed "al-fatihah", my tears starting to flow like a river.

I really wished to know why.. why? Why and how did the helicopter crashed, and why you??? and I suddenly wished it wasn't you. Suddenly life feels so much shorter. I miss the moment I play around with you calling you "Azhahahahaha". and you replied "Siew Chien chien chien.." I laughed at how you try to tease me with Min and how you tell me he is a great shy man. You were always the humble man that taught us a lot and patiently tell me things that I don't know. Suddenly all these just run like a movie in the head, the moments we all had during ubdppc great times. You were always there for us.

I tried to google the news, I am too curious why this unfortune could happen on you, Azhar. and this is what I get. A news from years ago.

Azhar Sulong, a Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) undergraduate, hopes that Brunei will always remain peaceful and tranquil under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

Azhar, who is also a member of the university's residential college committee, said: "The theme, 'My Country, Brunei Darussalam' reflects our pride and love for the country. I am proud to be a Bruneian.

"In fact, one can say that the pride of being a Bruneian is the peace in the multiracial community that we observe in Brunei," he added.

Reading it, makes me feel even proud to know you in my life. I know you must be feeling very upset that I cried so bad now, right. I should be strong and move on. I am sure many others are falling tears for you.I just couldn't control... but I promise I will be alright after today.

Azhar, thanks for being in my life, no matter how insignificant I might have been for you. You will always be remembered as a great leader, a great team mate and a great friend. Forever will. May Allah bless you. You will be remembered and missed.

With loves,
Jane.

Discovery Year - Eye opener

As you know, I've completed my Chinese learning programme in Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). It was a wonderful experience as expected by our university to open our eyes to the world. I wasn't alone, I went on this programme with Sieh Yee, the great company!!

WEATHERIt was a dream to see snow in real life, and I've realized it! SNOW! We arrived in Harbin on 23 February 2012, and it was just the right time there when it snowed for the first tim a few days later after a long cold winter. However we missed the Ice and Snow festival because the ice sculptures were starting to melt at that time.

I remembered 8 March, we played snow war and we slide down a slope, it was a thrill and great fun.

Its spring during April and you start to see green plants everywhere. Blossom blooms! =D In the beginning it was still cold but it is good enough to not wear your down jacket already.

Slowly june will be the early summer. You can wear shorts, and T-shirt by that time.

In short, winter is long in Harbin. No worries, they have heater in every building. and Summer in Harbin is rather short, it lasted only for 2 months or so. The weather wasn't as tough as we think,we adapt accordingly without much hassle.

STUDY LIFE
Study life was great! We just need to do what the teacher told us to, then we can move on to doing things we like.

I would say I wasn't really into learning chinese there, rather I would say I was there to enjoy the cultural exchange experience. The differences between Bruneian Chinese and those in China is quite large, I would say.

We have the same festival but the way we celebrate it is different. We refer to the same food in different words. The expressions we used is also different.

Example of  food they eat during CNY,
The food we eat during Chinese New Year, for example. They don't eat Keropok with "Archa". Some part of them eat dumplings, and some eat "nian gao", and near to southern part, some eat "Mi Xian".

Example of speaking language,
"We" in northern chinese refers to "Za men" rather than "Wo men".
"What?" in northern chinese refers to "Sa?" rather than "Shen me?"

Example of how they celebrate a festival
One that I personally experienced is the Dumpling Festival. In Brunei, we bring those dumplings to the beach and throw them into the sea. They don't practice this here, maybe for the sake of not wasting food. They have this culture of wearing a bracelet and let the first rain that comes on the Dumpling Festival wet the bracelet, and you make a wish, cut the bracelet, and let it flow with the river. Interesting right?

Example of eating culture
As I believe you know, they use only chopsticks, without chinese spoon in very typical chinese restaurant. We found this difficult at first because I am so used to using spoon to eat but slowly get used to it.

EXPLORING CHINA
Sieh Yee and I had opportunities during semester holidays to have a short vacation elsewhere.

We went to Dalian and Shenyang at first, and before we come back, we visited Beijing, the capital city of China!

APPRECIATION TO HIT BUDDIES
First, I would proudly say that Sieh Yee made the 4 months more meaningful staying there. Making a lot of friends and learning new things is normal, but getting friends to be able to talk about anything just feels great. You don't need to worry, you just gotta let things off your heart, telling others. Most probably, we think so much alike. We laughed at our mistakes, we talk problems out and solve them, we feel afraid together, we do silly things together, and of course we got through the semester together!

Second, I have to thanks all my teachers and classmates for helping us so much with our lives there in Harbin. The teachers there are like friends, trying to help us improve our chinese. Besides, of course they are strict and they have rules to obey. HIT is famous for its strict rules and regulation that helps them to succeed. F2 buddies, in fact F level buddies, thanks for all the great moments!

Thirdly, Thanks to all chinese friends I met from "Chong Feng Ba" members, table tennis, calligraphy club and also dancing classes. Although we might not meet again, but friends, you will be remembered as the beautiful memories I have in Harbin Institute of Technology!

Thanks Ethan, for your passions in calligraphy, your effort in helping me out with the calligraphy work is so much appreciated, and I will remember you as a great leader, a great friend, a great dance partner who never gives up. Its my honour to meet you! :D

Thanks Uranus, for your cuteness and understanding. Maybe the way we work, the way we think, the way we act and the thoughts we have are so much alike, that I can somehow understand you without knowing you, and vice versa. I always love chatting with you and talk things out. Thanks for being a great friend!

Thanks Pan Jian, the great dancer. Our teacher always appoint him to run a demonstration, clearly shows he is experienced. Oh well, I love dancing, and he taught me a lot on this! and of course thanks for checking out on me during Beijing Trip. He was really like a great brother, worrying about his sister. It feels so heart warming!

Thanks Jia Hao, the great brother among friends. He always have that kind of feeling like a brother who will always be there when you need him! hehe! Thanks for offering your help in everything, and thanks to you, I could participate in the table tennis tournament. I am sorry I've disappointed you in some ways, perhaps you expect me to be better and maybe I could, but well, for all that, I appreciate everything. The confidence and endless hope you have in me, thank you!

Thanks Gan Lei for being so cute ! haha! We didn't spend too much time hanging out but he always have that kind of feelings that makes girl wanna tell him he's cute! *right, Sieh Yee?*

Thanks Senior Xu, for being the great table tennis sparring partner! :)

Thanks Davy (Dai Wei) for being the most fashionable person in the university. HIT is a top university, and it is not surprised to see people not prioritizing in their outlooks so much compared to other chinese universities. They were too busy with their studies to take care of their outlook but Davy is different! He caught korean's attention alot because he is fair and somehow looks korean too! He is a nice chatter too ;)

Thanks to F2 BUDDIES. Inna, Natsya, Serga, Chary, Suin, Mijin and Dajeong, we have great times together!! Sun island and all the gatherings. Thanks for being there for me like a family! <3
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Long story, and I can't summarise them properly!! :D haha! anyway, I enjoyed it very much. There are a lot of first times in it.

First time watching sunset with Suin and the other F1 class friends.
First time falling in love with Harbin Beer.
First time closing my eyes and feel the snow on my face.
First time playing snow war.
First time dance like nobody is around.
First time going into a russian bar and enjoy the free beer and wine.
First time writing so many postcards to friends all over the world.
First time away from family and serious assignments for so long.
First time putting down everything and just enjoy the moments without worries.
First time getting to know more international friends!

Coming back from China, I see things differently. a lot more relax, although still very stressed. a lot more open minded, although still not so open minded. *laugh*

Ahh, too many first times! and what a messy post! Too many things to tell and didn't want to post a long essay over here. =p

Harbin's reaching melting point!

Harbin is reaching melting point. Its no longer snow, its raining. You see snow coming, but all melts when it reach the ground. We can no longer play with snow, all of it melt away.

We used to "ski" on the smooth icy ground, now it all melts. We could even lie down on the floor to make 'snow fairies' before. Now, the ground is wet and muddy. (awww.) but I am still glad, that I  experienced how fun it was, playing in snow with some international buddies back on 8 March.

Apparently this means SPRING IS COMING!!

Please compare! Before and After!

I was so afraid that it will be too cold in Harbin before I arrived, after a week staying here. I wish the weather could stay around -3 to -15 degree celcius! The moment we can still enjoy seeing snow! I bet when I go back Brunei, I'll be complaining so much about the hot weather! I miss the feeling living in the fridge (really!) If there would a chance to come the second time, I would! :D

Food ~~

Familiar with this? Yes it looks like martabak, aint it?? Yes they have it here too~ but it taste a little bit different. They put ginger in it *amazed*.

To the left, you see a picture of four dishes. It was one of meals. You will be pretty amazed that the four dishes only cost us B$2! Of course, this is what we can get from our campus canteen. Outside the campus, it would definitely be much expensive. One dish costs around B$3+. The more high class, the more expensive, yes, of course. And yes, Harbin is famous for its beer as well, below is the picture I took from the restaurant. Quite cheap, RMB 12 ( B$2+ ), you can get a bottle.

Oh yes, this is my classroom, very chinese style, isn't it? We still stick to blackboard. There is 7 students in our classroom. Initially there were only 6 females, now that we have a new russian boy joining us, so we have 7 in total!

Everyday, there's homework, and the teachers are friendly and helpful. They are so caring. If you missed a class, they would ask and give recommendations on which medicine might be helping us to get well.

We are planning to go Siberian Park tomorrow! We can see TIGERS.. ROARRRR! =D Can't wait!

The beauty of Harbin

Before coming, I imagined heavy snow and strong wind. When I stepped out of Harbin airport, the imagination was gone in one click, because it wasn't as scary as imagined. No heavy snow, no strong wind.

Buildings outside Dorm 6, Ha Gong Da (HIT)
Basketball court and tennis court outside Dorm 6

We met a lot of friendly korean in the bus, we were in the same bus going back to campus from airport. They arrived just an hour after us. We celebrated our first night with them. "Guobaorou" was the most delicious dish, and the weirdest dish I think was this (see the pic). I forgot the name and its spicy. No more second time, especially when its spicy. (hehe!)

Unknown, but not delicious to me!

Our room is bigger than expected. In summary, we are living in dorm 6, 506-2. In this 506, there are two rooms: one single room, and one twin-sharing room. Only post graduate students get to live in the single room. We have an italian software engineering student over here, her name is Ari and she is friendly. Sieh Yee and I share the twin bedroom.

Toilet
View from our bedroom door
Just an introduction to illustrate how our rooms actually connect to the bathroom. When you enter 506 and open the door, basically you will see 3 doors, left to the bathroom, straight to the single bedroom and right to the the twin bedroom which is our room. You could imagine it with the help with the pictures.

Our Socket

Our heater
Our wardrobe and TV

The heater is SO crucial, thank god for people who invented it. It is -10 degree back then. Now its increasing to -3, which is getting warmer and warmer. Just recently it gets colder because the snow started to melt. This would mean Spring is coming!

Chinese food is homely, it feels like being at home to see those food! I love their tofu! NO MATTER HOW THEY COOK! I like Tofu, Sieh Yee likes potato, we end up buying these very often! The picture shows one of our meals.

MORE PICTURES !! :D

One of the park in our campus

Another view of the park in our campus

A nice looking building in our campus

I heard from our classmates who were here since last semester, they told us that there were little snow in winter. I felt a little sad at first, because I haven't seen any snow. Not until early March.

On 8 March 2012, it was the prettiest day in Harbin. It is also the Women's Day. There is a Russian classmate in Sieh Yee's class and she got a rose! All women in the class get to get one! Awwww!!

On the same day,one of my dream came true!! We made snow fairies on the ground, we slide down the slope, we climbed over gates, we stand on frozen river having our SNOW war! Koreans VS Indonesians+USA people+ Bruneians! It was the one and ONLY day the campus was so crowded! We were so happy, all students were. The only heavy snow that actually freeze the ground completely. Students started to gather and build snow castles, and all sorts of things on the field. There were cats, dungs, mushrooms.. oh my god, they are just so creative! (Pictures still in friends' camera!)

Some pictures of Harbin in SNOW!
My first snow!
View outside my classroom

Notice this basketball court (compare to the picture earlier on!)
Basketball court in front of Dorm 6

We are happy, but its going to be the headache of the cleaners, as they are working hard to scope the ice away, to avoid any accidents. You need to be extra careful when its not snowing anymore, especially when the ice is melting.

In this picture, I am standing in front of the international student building, also the place I am having my classes.

Now I registered quite some number of classes. Chinese class is compulsory, and electives are optional. I am here, why not join and have fun!

I chose 3 electives. 1) Ballroom dance, 2) Latin Dance, 3) Love and Sex Education for University Students. Are you feeling weird about this? Well, its a good opportunity to learn some electives that UBD are not offering, plus no one knows me over here, no harm go for dancing, no need to feel embarassed about anything! Plus, this could help me in improving my posture and stimulate more of my feminine side =D My schedules are quite packed !

I LOVE the learning environment here, because they are strict. Do you know what "late" means here? In class, if you are late for class 5-15 minutes later, you are late. Later than 15 minutes, its counted "absent". Full attendance students with less than 4 late records will be awarded some cash. WOW, I am so going to get that cash! Another experience, 1 minute late is late. We missed our Harbin tour because we were right in time to the gathering place and we saw the bus departing. How sad! 3 students didn't get to go because we were just right in time. When they tell you to gather 1.30, it means the bus is departing at that time, so we learnt that we should come earlier next time.

OH YES, I forgot this!

Shui jiao
This is 'Shui jiao'. quite delicious, its like wanton back in Brunei but this is bigger and with more meat, most important, its cheaper! Imagine the big plate just cost you RMB 7 ( approx.B$2 +-)

When we arrived, we went to Zhong Yang Da Jie (most popular place recommended in Harbin). Its a street full of shops and shopping centres. We didn't get to buy anything, because we will be doing a lot of walking and didn't want to carry too much along with us. If you come to Harbin, DO invest in a good walking shoe, this is true. and DO eat their ice cream especially in winter! HAHA! I tried, its delicious! :D There are a lot of branded goods- NIKE, ADIDAS, LINING etc etc. Cosmetics and a lot. We didn't finish exploring, because the day was late and we need to catch a bus back to campus! One trip cost you only RMB 1! Transportation in Harbin is efficient, there will be buses every 10-15 minutes, operating from morning till 8.30pm. so no worries.

Its freezing cold, I need more accessories to keep me warm. This is my new winter hat I got here for RMB 25, the auntie in the shop made it! =D

Bear with me!! with this long post, my post will be once in a blue moon. =p hehehe! <3

Thank you for your concern, my friends! Love ya lots!! <3<3

Opportunities

I am so excited about everything! Opportunity keeps knocking the door, and I am always so easily wanting to let it off just because I am afraid. At the end of the day, I just wanted to slap myself hard and wake up!!!

People say, you will be successful if you’re prepared when opportunity knocks! Well, I pretty much have to agree with that right now. If you’re not prepared, another person who could be better prepared than you do might took away your chance. Pretty much yes.

Seeing a potential in publishing our science notes, Seng yee brought it up and PHMD is going to help us realize this tiny dream. This little booklet might be meaningless to you, but to me(us), this was a well-done job. If publishing it can earn us some bucks, at the same time being an asset to the education in Brunei (wow?! But yes!! I am so confident with that with the help of people around us) , I don’t see why not. Probably some doubts like we not being the students majoring in those subjects could put us down a little on how would other people view us as the author and the book itself. With Mdm Deepa’s words, I am so motivated to help in the production of the A80 series, collaborating with Seng Yee and Sieh Yee. Seems like its pretty much a fate with the Yee’s !

My piggy’s getting a pretty new phone for me, I am so much excited about that. It’s coming in a week time!! NEAR to my birthday! That could count as my birthday wish~ I just can’t believe things are happening. And sometimes I am so amazed by how piggy can read my mind and how generous he is to use all his angpau money on this. At first, guilt come a little but then to think of it, if I am a boy, standing in his shoe, I would be thoroughly happy deep down in, if I am able to realize a little dream of my girlfriend in getting what she wants. It probably is such a coincidence, but coincidence don’t happen all the time, and I never told anyone about it! Right, he always scold me for the right reason at the right time or maybe sometimes put me alone to tears, but afterall I understand it’s for my own good and he always care and want me to be better =) He always let me fly anywhere I want, as long I don’t forget to come back! That is just how sweet he is. It just makes me loving him more each day each time. *loves*

Going to Harbin is 20 days away from now. I am SO excited and a little down! It could also mean, no blog, no social networks for 4 months, but it is going to be fine! You can find me in yahoo or msn alright! I pretty much going to miss a lot of things, and yes I pretty will learn a lot of new things over there! Siewchien90@yahoo.com is my yahoo mail. And janesiewchien@hotmail.com is my hotmail. If you want to find me, here you can. At least these are places I know China didn’t ban!

If you ask “Why Harbin?”. It’s dumb to answer you “I don’t know”. I know it’s dumb. If you ask “What you want to be when you graduate?”, that as well would be dumb if I tell “I don’t know” when I already choose Mathematics as major. It is more like, I go for what I can afford to. Harbin compared to UK, is cheaper in terms of everything IN CASE the government is not going to pay for everything. I felt lucky to have thought that way, but I am still hopeful I can reimburse everything after I come back from China. I am super glad the living expense in Harbin is fairly affordable; otherwise I might have to drop the plan for local COP or attachment. Daddy, I am really sorry for being the burden right now, but I assure you I’ll do you good in the future I promise. Daddy has more white hairs now than ever. Living expense is increasing and salary is not. We 3 big kids are such like monsters eating all his money away for education and our needs/entertainments. To the thought of that, I just wish to finish my degree like a rocket and start working. It’s just helpless to see your parents strive so hard for their children, that would make me think a lot that wasting food, not studying hard, wasting time, not using time wisely are all things we must not do in return.

I want a bright future, realizing dreams. One of them is buying a Brunei house for my family. If you tell me buying a house is guy’s stuff, I might not want to agree with that. Probably it just feels like a proud thing to do being the eldest child in the family. Probably it feels like impossible, but just believe, and the rest would take care of it themselves.

It’s been times, and slowly losing in contact with a lot of people. We’re running in different directions and sometimes we’re just too busy and forget. One thing for sure, I will not forget people who once offer their hands when I am in deep shit. And I will never forget those who make me feel I am someone and change the way I see things. To help others, we definitely need to help ourselves first. You can easily light another person’s life if you have a bright positive life. That’s always been in thoughts.

Thanks for being there =) Friends, Colleagues and family =)

3rd day of CNY!

The year of dragon! =D Going through first two days of CNY keep me excited. The first day of CNY was the first time I went to piggy's house to meet his family. His BIG family. Dozen of uncles/aunties with their own family. Lots of food, lots of interesting people. A very big heart warming family with lots of different personalities. At first it was really awkward, and maybe I was really nervous and didn't know what to react, I did silly things and hopefully no one realized it! Well, of course for the first impression, the funniest and attention catching must be Zhen2. I was hoping to see Wen2 as well, but he went for lion dance, Awww~ Heh.They celebrated birthday during the first day of CNY. There were 6 cousins who were born during CNY and thinking it was quite a coincident the gregorian calendar of Ah Shen same as my youngest brother, Boon same as my 2nd brother and Ping same as mine! =) Hehe!

On the second day, piggy came to my house. It was quite awkward too(at first!)! oh, well I am so glad everything works out fine! :) heheee! Thanks babyyy~ <3 hehehe! He always look really charming when he was nervous of meeting my family (although he doesn't know it). =D I know, right! and he looks really really good in his smart wear. =D

Now I am still in Miri, staying at home and doing some research on Harbin. I am getting so excited about it right now. <3 hehe!

Chinese New Year Eve!

Heee! Chinese new year eve is coming! Our house is really in red at the moment! So looking forward to tomorrow, the year of dragon! Hu~ Ha~ Hu~ Ha~ =D

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

May the Year of Dragon brings everyone luck, prosperity and blessings <3 Heeee!

We did our spring cleaning, and I actually reminisce a lot packing my things! =) I actually have a space in the displaying wardrobe, and I can only put a few gift in there, I still have quite some bunch back in Seria. Hehe. Wonderful gifts =) If you let me choose a lexus and any gift below, you would be surprise what I would choose =) Heee. Below are all gifts I kept in that wardrobe.

Guess who gave me this! =D

Hint: Inside there is 365 stars, folded by someone really special for my birthday! =D Heee. Together with the gift, there are colourful love notes! Reading through it, made me feel really touched. Although we lost in contact, and doesn't talk much, I just feel the physical gap doesn't keep us too far. The first non-blood related family I've ever had =)

This is my primary 6 graduation gift!

It isn't something that expensive but meant so much =)

Guess who gave me this?

Guess who gave me this?
Hint: You can easily give it a good guess, one of the cute cross stitch lover among my social circle, YOU CAN DO IT, yeahh I can! =D hehehe. It looks a bit old, cause it was a gift in 2004, my 14th birthday! heheee.

Guess who gave me this?
Hint: This is the girl who teaches me how "never give up" actually lead us to success. When everyone thinks something is impossible, she was the one who hold on to herself. I trust she will be someone great one day. She will =)

Guess who gave me this?
Hint: No, no one gave me this, I gave someone this! haha, it actually comes in a couple of bunny, someone else had one of this. Losing contact for quite so long, hope everything goes well in his studies and everything! =)

Guess who gave me this?
Hint: You can notice this is one of the cross-stitch product right? and the picture itself can give quite a good hint of who actually gave me this! =P

Guess who gave me this?
Hint: This is a chopstick, what comes into your mind when people mention about using chopstick? Heee! Probably you can give that a good guess! =)

Guess who gave me this?
Hint: I just love helping these girls, and a "thanks" in return meant more than anything ever =)

And yeahhh, beside gifts, these are my achievements. Hehe. Sometimes it is really important to invest a little more in trophy, because I really got annoyed by those names of events coming off the trophy. Or next time I need to wrap them in plastic bags! *lol* I just took picture of those that I think should look good enough to be displayed =P

Pretty? <3 It was the team championship 2006, between schools.

This one is the one I just got from CITI square championship! =)

Generation of PSR/PSK medals.
It was oval, then getting rounder and rounder =p
I am loving this! <3 hehehe. The 2011 PSR medal. It looks like a sunny medal, isn't it? :D

Quite surprise with this, remembering this was the period Seng Yee and I keep on training our running in PJN track fields for the sake of fitness test, and at the same time we joined SMSA jogathon and I got this. Heee!

Most lovable medal ever! Because I earned this from an outside Brunei tournament, Sukan Mahasiswa Universiti held in Kuching during Nov 2011 <3 hehe. Thanks to UBD that our pp team was chosen.

Happy and excellent memories over there in Kuching with bunch of loving team mates!

A bunch of medals. =D Achievements since 2004. Thanks to Jia Jiunn, Jian Ang for bring us into table tennis, Thanks to Uncle Foo, Coach Duan, Uncle Lai, Coach Wang Gang and Tzu Min for being serious coach later on. *I know right, I am such a stubborn player that always goes back to my own bad habit~(hard to teach!)* HEEE!

Oh, oh, back to some gifts.

Guess who gave me this?
Hint: This is so easy, if you know me and people around me! Cute gift <3 hehehe. Loving it. One day, who knows I'll be standing on this tower taking pictures. *wishing* hehehe.

 Guess what's this?
Taken from my photo album, this was my 20th birthday celebration in Excapade, sponsored by Ah Boy, cake idea from Ea Hui. and the best gift was the companion of lots of close friends. This year birthday is special, why? because my cake is special and the people around me are special, too! =D

 Guess who gave me this?

Sweetest gift for my 21st birthday! =D I know, right. I love the key to freedom and also the champagne. Love champagne, and love drinking it =P hehehe. and the note makes it even complete. Thanks, baby =D

My 21st birthday was memorable ones, hee. and I had my first major accident there! Banging into Ryan's car! Ouch, costed me around B$500! That keeps me more careful next time, I was a little little traumatized. (lol~!)

There are a lot more gifts, but I kept them back in Seria, can't take photos. So ehehe! =D and a lot of greeting cards, Huey Lu is the most thoughtful one with this. She sent greetings card no matter where she is. Lovely, right? hehe. I am going to do that when I am in Harbin <3 Harbin is just so beautiful that I really wanted to buy postcards and send it to my friends! =D

and some pretty much notes and birthday cards from old friends, just so heart warming reading them =).

My mom's so creative. *salutes*, talking about that, I don't think I am much of a creative person. I am telling you a funny fact, my mom helped me a lot in drawing assignment back in my primary and secondary, lol, wasn't too sad about a spoiled grade in my PMB then. hehe. Thank god there's no more drawing class for O and A level. Heee. Why am I talking about this again? Oh, oh, my mom actually decorated the whole house in red. Pretty!! Of course, I was the assistant. haha! To me, it feels like a warming garden out there in the garage. No pictures! It will be a surprise, pictures only get uploaded after new year!

It's been years we didn't really celebrate CNY for real since my grandma passed away. There's a pantang that we shouldn't be doing too much celebrations. Nevertheless, grandma, I really wish you were here :) You are always remembered, always..always..

I am happy this year and so looking forward so much to CNY 2012. Wuhhoo. The year of Dragon! <3 May it brings everyone good lucks and blessings :)
