3rd day of CNY!

The year of dragon! =D Going through first two days of CNY keep me excited. The first day of CNY was the first time I went to piggy's house to meet his family. His BIG family. Dozen of uncles/aunties with their own family. Lots of food, lots of interesting people. A very big heart warming family with lots of different personalities.At first it was really awkward, and maybe I was really nervous and didn't know what to react, I did silly things and hopefully no one realized it! Well, of course for the first impression, the funniest and attention catching must be Zhen2. I was hoping to see Wen2 as well, but he went for lion dance, Awww~ Heh.They celebrated birthday during the first day of CNY. There were 6 cousins who were born during CNY and thinking it was quite a coincident the gregorian calendar of Ah Shen same as my youngest brother, Boon same as my 2nd brother and Ping same as mine! =) Hehe!

On the second day, piggy came to my house. It was quite awkward too(at first!)! oh, well I am so glad everything works out fine! :) heheee! Thanks babyyy~ <3 hehehe! He always look really charming when he was nervous of meeting my family (although he doesn't know it). =D I know, right! and he looks really really good in his smart wear. =D

Now I am still in Miri, staying at home and doing some research on Harbin. I am getting so excited about it right now. <3 hehe!

Can't wait, this is going to be a really exciting year!

We did our spring cleaning, and I actually reminisce a lot packing my things! =) I actually have a space in the displaying wardrobe, and I can only put a few gift in there, I still have quite some bunch back in Seria. Hehe. Wonderful gifts =) If you let me choose a lexus and any gift below, you would be surprise what I would choose =) Heee. Below are all gifts I kept in that wardrobe.

Hint: Inside there is 365 stars, folded by someone really special for my birthday! =D Heee. Together with the gift, there are colourful love notes! Reading through it, made me feel really touched. Although we lost in contact, and doesn't talk much, I just feel the physical gap doesn't keep us too far. The first non-blood related family I've ever had =)

 And yeahhh, beside gifts, these are my achievements. Hehe. Sometimes it is really important to invest a little more in trophy, because I really got annoyed by those names of events coming off the trophy. Or next time I need to wrap them in plastic bags! *lol* I just took picture of those that I think should look good enough to be displayed =P

Quite surprise with this, remembering this was the period Seng Yee and I keep on training our running in PJN track fields for the sake of fitness test, and at the same time we joined SMSA jogathon and I got this. Heee! 

 Most lovable medal ever! Because I earned this from an outside Brunei tournament, Sukan Mahasiswa Universiti held in Kuching during Nov 2011 <3 hehe. Thanks to UBD that our pp team was chosen.

Sweetest gift for my 21st birthday! =D I know, right. I love the key to freedom and also the champagne. Love champagne, and love drinking it =P hehehe. and the note makes it even complete. Thanks, baby =D

My 21st birthday was memorable ones, hee. and I had my first major accident there! Banging into Ryan's car! Ouch, costed me around B$500! That keeps me more careful next time, I was a little little traumatized. (lol~!)


There are a lot more gifts, but I kept them back in Seria, can't take photos. So ehehe! =D and a lot of greeting cards, Huey Lu is the most thoughtful one with this. She sent greetings card no matter where she is. Lovely, right? hehe. I am going to do that when I am in Harbin <3 Harbin is just so beautiful that I really wanted to buy postcards and send it to my friends! =D

My mom's so creative. *salutes*, talking about that, I don't think I am much of a creative person. I am telling you a funny fact, my mom helped me a lot in drawing assignment back in my primary and secondary, lol, wasn't too sad about a spoiled grade in my PMB then. hehe. Thank god there's no more drawing class for O and A level. Heee. Why am I talking about this again? Oh, oh, my mom actually decorated the whole house in red. Pretty!! Of course, I was the assistant. haha! To me, it feels like a warming garden out there in the garage. No pictures! It will be a surprise, pictures only get uploaded after new year!

It's been years we didn't really celebrate CNY for real since my grandma passed away. There's a pantang that we shouldn't be doing too much celebrations. Nevertheless, grandma, I really wish you were here :) You are always remembered, always..always..

I am happy this year and so looking forward so much to CNY 2012. Wuhhoo. The year of Dragon! <3 May it brings everyone good lucks and blessings :)

Control & Let go.

I went to Sun Tzu gathering, I was invited by my brother. Somehow, I am really glad I was there, I always love the feeling of being there itself. Seeing them, I feel happy. Seeing them helping each other without expecting any returns makes people happier. It probably is a place where people put down all their problems and bad habits, and express their inner kindness to others.

Everyone has bad habits, bad attitudes, uncontrollable minds, the difference is in the matter of "to what extent?". Sometimes, we know what's wrong and what we shouldn't do, yet we still do it for the sake of satisfaction or self benefit.

Do you feel the same?

• We know we shouldn't talk loudly at our parents, but sometimes we still do, although after that we might be feeling guilty inside yet sorry is just so hard to come by.

• We know we should listen to old folks' advice, sometimes we just think we know better and ignored them.
  
• We know our siblings need more care and love, yet we just can't change the way we talk rudely to them. (Do you realize sometimes you can even talk nicer to your friend's brother, than to your own?)
  
• We know eating meat kills more animals in the world, but it is so delicious that we just can't stop doing it. (wehe, I know right, we're contributing so much to the world getting hotter and hotter, killing sacrificing those innocents lives so we enjoy our meals) - hehehe! don't call this guilty pleasure.
• We know we don't need the pretty expensive vase in the house, yet we just buy it without considering if we really need it or not.
  
• Drinking, smoking and gambling are not healthy, yet sometimes we just didn't bother as long as we get ourselves satisfied with the relaxation and fun out of it.
  
  ...... and many many many more that you can think of.

It all lies in the ability of you controlling your wants, and desire. Sometimes. Desire exceeds over the limit, becomes greed. When your want exceeds over the limit, becomes burden.

Only if you want to control it, you can be happy! :D

Learn to control and let go! =) First thing first, I want to control on not talking loudly even if I feel like going mad, and let the feeling of what's making you doing that go away! =) heee. (its gonna be a bit hard sometimes when it gets too annoying BUT its never impossible! )

Welcome to 2012!

Welcome to my blog <3

Life's full of ups and downs, people might be fed up of obstacles and pray that their journey would be smooth. If their wish really does come true, I trust they're no better person. When everything's too smooth, people know nothing about making mistakes and learning from it. Through overcoming obstacles, people learn and experience, the next time that problem comes in, it is definitely a lesser problem if not a smooth go. When one can see problems as an opportunity to learn, life is definitely great in its own way that people keep on learning something new!

This is actually the XXXth time, I can't remember how many times I've tried to 'renew' my blog! hehe, but this will be my last time (doubt that!) Hehe! I've been seriously procrastinating for the whole december last year. Well, some told that "yes, you're supposed to be like that, come on, its holidays!" Well yea, its holidays and I did nothing productive except for helping bits here and there in the house and sitting in front of the computer doing some of my holiday assignment. Wehee.

Its 2012, time flies like you blink your eyes, really. Its one and a half year until my graduation! Can't wait! =D I am going to Harbin, China this coming February! That will be the most exciting part in my whole life, I am finally going to go out of Borneo for instance. Hey hey hey, don't look at me like that! Seriously, I've never been out of Borneo,since I was a child. You think I am joking? No, I am serious! I can only hope one day I earn my own money and start visiting countries I would love to! I am not unlucky, just not as lucky! =D Anyway, now I get to go Harbin, such a beautiful city on earth but its going to be really really really COLD! (That's a great challenge!!)

Well, on the good sides, these will be very valuable experience to see hand craved sculptures and beautiful night scene, Such a romantic place, I wish I can bring piggy along! =D! I am not sure if I am still lucky to catch up with the winter. The ice might be starting to melt when I go there, I would be studying for a spring semester.
